Ziobro “concerned about the situation in the Agreement” – Solidarna Polska

– I am concerned and surprised by the trials that took place in the Agreement – suddenly, unexpectedly, completely surprisingly – said in an interview with Program III of Polish Radio, the Minister of Justice, leader of Solidarity Poland, Zbigniew Ziobro.

Two weeks ago, Kamil Bortniczuk and Adam Bielan were removed from the Agreement. INmore often Bielan was suspended as a party member.

Both politicians removed from the Agreement consider this decision invalid because – in their opinion – the party’s management was extended in the fall of 2020 contrary to the statute, and Jarosław Gowin himself, the party’s chairman, is in fact no longer the president of the Agreement since 2017, because his three-year mandate in this position he has not been renewed.

On Friday, the leader of the Agreement, Jarosław Gowin applied for the removal of 8 members from the group – and the peers’ court upheld this request. Among those excluded from the party are: Jacek Żalek, Deputy Minister for Funds and Regional Policy, Michał Cieślak, Minister of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister for Local Government, and Zbigniew Gryglas, Deputy Minister of State Assets.

The following were also thrown out of the Agreement: Włodzimierz Tomaszewski, Karol Rabenda, Magdalena Błeńska, Paweł Skotarek, Andrzej Walkowiak.

– There is an evident crisis in the Agreement – said Ziobro, commenting on the crisis in the party forming the United Right.

Ziobro emphasized that Solidarna Polska was “surprised by the situation in the Agreement”.

At the same time, the Minister of Justice appealed that the dispute in the Agreement should not be transferred to the entire United Right.

– There are different views, opinions, and sometimes disputes within various political circles or coalitions. Nobody is happy if the disputes within circles or coalitions grow. It threatens its stabilization – said Ziobro.

– Skilful conflict resolution should be a feature of politicians – he concluded.

Ziobro also declared that Solidarna Polska “does not want to enter the area of responsibility of another grouping”.
