You Can Go Home, Daimler Indonesia Prepares Emergency Services at These 6 Points

DAPURPACU – After two years of being banned, the government finally allowed going home this year with a number of rules. This is welcomed by the bus company (PO) whose vehicles can resume operations carrying passengers on Eid 2022.

Based on information from the Ministry of Transportation, the number of homecomers who use bus transportation reaches 26.7 million with the most homecoming destinations in Central Java, East Java and West Java.

Therefore, Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI), the sole authorized sales agent for Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles in Indonesia, also supports it by presenting the Lebaran Rescue 2022 program which is valid from 28 April 2022 to 7 May 2022.

The Lebaran Rescue 2022 program is an emergency service for Mercedes-Benz bus customers which includes 24-hour technical support, on-site damage inspection and technical consultation, especially for POs who provide homecoming services.

This emergency service has several facilities and services, such as being able to get free technician fees, free minor repairs and free electrical control unit check-ups using Xentry Diagnostic.

DCVI’s Head of Product and Marketing, Faustina explained that buses are still the most sought after means by most people as a means of transportation. So that the bus used must have a standard of comfort and safety.

“By cooperating with authorized dealers, Daimler customers can get facilities and support at several points. We hope that this program can be fully efficient for Mercedes-Benz bus drivers and passengers,” Faustina said in her official broadcast, Tuesday (26/4).

Daimler Indonesia will also prepare as many as 24 professional technicians from the Mercedes-Benz Bus division spread across Java and Sumatra.

In addition, six rescue points were also placed at authorized dealers located in Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and also Medan.

According to Faustina, the selection of this rescue point has been adjusted to the needs of customers, where Java is the most frequent homecoming destination. For this reason, his party has placed five rescue points on three main homecoming routes on the island of Java.

“The three of them are the North Coast route, the South Coast route and the Central Java route. In addition, we also added a rescue point in Medan, North Sumatra. The selection of the location for this rescue point is expected to provide maximum service for all of our customers,” he added. [dp/DF]
