Applicants can be both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as scientific leaders from universities and research institutes in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Leaders can receive an award for their contribution to the development of the community and work with young professionals.
“For the development of science, especially work on basic research, a comfortable environment is needed. Two years ago we launched the Education Initiative to systematically support education and science, ”says Elena Bunina, CEO of Yandex in Russia. – The Segalovich Prize is part of this initiative; it is aimed in particular at young scientists who are just starting their careers. It seems important to us not only to mark their achievements with a cash prize, but also to help present their ideas to the scientific community. A trip to a world-class specialized conference is always an exchange of knowledge, from which everyone benefits. ”
To become one of the applicants, you need to apply for website award until March 1 inclusive.
