WRC: Sebastien Ogier wins Sardinian rally

Sebastien Ogier won the Sardinian rally, widening his lead over Elfyn Evans in the drivers’ championship to 11 points, as the latter finished 46 seconds behind the Frenchman.

With Toyota doing 1-2, Thierry Neuville was in third place with Hyundai, with Takamoto Katsuta finishing 4th, Jari Huttunen 5th, Mads Ostberg 6th, Marco Bulacia 7th and Martin Prokop 8th.

Neuville was faster on the Power Stage with 5 extra points, with Tanaka getting 4, Rovanpera 3, Ogier 2 and Sordo 1.

Next rally, the Kenya Rally scheduled for June 24-27.
