The match started with dangerous long shots. Fehérvár, who were in the relegation zone, had more of the ball, Peter Pokorny’s header saved the home team from a goal. The Puskás Academy managed to reach the goal by mistake, not so the visitors, who had the leading goal at the feet of Kenan Kodro, when he curled his shot wide of the goal in a door-to-window situation.

After a turnover, Puskás Academy’s game revived and Zsombor Gruber took the lead. Fehérvár went ahead for the equalizing goal, Pál Dárda managed to equalize with a header. The home team found themselves in a difficult situation when Sahab Zahedi, who had started a few minutes earlier, was sent off with a second yellow card, and the visitors’ hope for a win flickered.

To their surprise, however, they were disturbed by the man advantage, because the Felcúti guard led again with György Komáromi’s header in the first half. After that, the visiting team tried desperately, but failed to equalize, and in the end, Kasper Larsen also received a red card, so the team from Fehérvár ended the match with ten men.
