Today, Arte invites you to a big music evening in the late-night program: ABBA and Motörhead, among others, will be there.

The music program starts at 9.45 pm with the documentary “ABBA Forever”. The documentary ran last week and will be repeated again today. In the film, Arte revisits the turbulent success story of the disco icons who recently celebrated their comeback with their new album “Voyage”.

This is followed by the concert recording “Eric Clapton: Slowhand at 70” on Arte at 10:35 pm. The world-famous guitar legend delivered a real concert highlight in the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2015, which you can experience again today at Arte. There are some of his most famous songs like “Tears in Heaven” and “Cocaine”.

At 12:25 am, “Motörhead: Louder than Noise” finally follows. In December 2012 Motörhead played one of their biggest live concerts in Germany in the Berlin Velodrom. In front of 12,000 enthusiastic fans, Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee did what the trio was so popular for far beyond the metal scene and delivered an energetic and sweaty show. The film shows the synergy between the three, with all their charm, wit and sweaty pace. From “I Know How to Die” to “Ace of Spades” and “Overkill” to “Going to Brazil”, “Louder than Noise … – Live in Berlin” shows the liberating power of a Motörhead gig, announced Arte.

All three programs are also in the artMedia library available for streaming.
