Sony showed several new games at its Showcase event last week, but also Project Q, a new game console through which it will be possible to stream games from your Playstation 5. Already in the original article, we wondered why the Japanese company would not allow cloud streaming and now another piece of information is leaking out, over which our minds are left standing.

Since all the visuals are calculated on the console and then just streamed to you, you’d expect Project Q to deliver good battery life, but according to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, we can expect quite the opposite. The device should last for one charge 3-4 hourswhich is really little when we consider that for example Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck will last approximately the same, but with one significant difference – the games run directly on the console.

Mobile phones or tablets with the Remote Play application turned on will therefore last many times longer than solutions directly from Sony. We honestly don’t know what to make of this number. We can only hope that the company will still work on optimization.
