Suara.com – When the holiday is over, someone will start their activities again on Monday. Some start working, while others have to go to school.

This situation makes many people hate Mondays, or the term I Hate Monday appears. This is to describe, describe the feeling of discomfort after the holiday is over.

This has been revealed by Clinical Psychologist and Co-Founder of Ohana Space Veronica Adesla, when contacted by Suara.com, Sunday (11/14/2021).

In addition, Veronica said there are two different meanings regarding weekdays and weekends. According to him, there is an influence from a person’s emotional shift, especially when experiencing a transition period.

“There are different meanings towards weekdays and weekends for individuals. And this affects the shift in emotions he feels, especially when changing or transitioning from weekdays to weekends and vice versa,” he continued.

“The transition from the emotions felt during the weekend, having to deal with routines and work responsibilities. With the various challenges that exist, this is what triggers uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety, laziness, and lack of enthusiasm,” he added.

On the other hand, Veronica said, the emotions felt by individuals are very different. Especially if the individual feels excited when the holidays have arrived after five days of work.

“Usually on Friday, individual emotions start to return to being excited, happy, and positive because they begin to feel a transitional atmosphere. This means that someone can be free and do what they want outside of work,” he said.
