MONEY RECEIVED WITH ZERO INTEREST AND GIVE 600%

Another business in which the faithful pastor Sighiartău profited was on the back of the pandemic.

In the spring of 2020, the Orban-led government initiated a program to finance SMEs significantly affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Under the pressure of the liberal clientele, Cîțu also introduced the IFNs into the program, which could thus take loans from banks with zero interest, in the conditions where they obtain very difficult or even no capital from external sources. IFNs such as Capital Leasing, Mobilo Credit, EcoFinance IFN, Imocredit, Easy Credit 4 All, Agrinvest Credit, Rocredit, Krom Invest, Rapid Credit and IFN Îpmrumut SA have submitted applications for financing with 0 interest, announced Profit.ro. Instead, the same IFNs were free to continue lending with burdensome interest rates. Mobilo gave loans for a period of one month with an interest rate of 1.6% per day, or almost 600% per year. Easy Credit granted loans guaranteed by mortgages – generally with the home – with a credit card interest rate, namely 36% per year.

“Dedication to the party cabal,” screamed the pesedistas, then opponents of the liberals and their current governing colleagues. “An excellent idea to start the engine of the economy for the privileged like Robert Sighiartău”, wrote the press of the time.

“The general secretary of the PNL, Robert Sighiartău, applied through the IFNs controlled by him for loans with zero interest, guaranteed by his colleague Cîțu from Finance, and he will use the money to lend the population with DAE of possibly 9800% annually. This is to see who Cîțu is helping, in fact!”, wrote on Facebook the former advisor to the Ministry of Labor, Cristian Vasilcoiu, who also presented the document attesting to this.

THE CROSS AND THE WALLET

In his wealth declaration, Robert Sighiartău only stated how many shares he has in IFN Comautotransport Leasing SRL, but not the percentage he owns. The statement also has other omissions. Reality TV previously revealed that Sighiartău lives in a villa with an estimated value of over 300,000 euros built on DN 1, in the north of the Capital, which does not appear in the wealth declaration. He also showed up with a brand new red Volvo, with Bistrita license plate number, which is also not mentioned in the wealth declaration, claimed the producer of that show, Anca Alexandrescu. She also said that next to the villa where Sighiartău lives, there is another one that would belong to a relative of the Pentecostal pastor at the head of the PNL. Sighiartău did not feel obliged to give explanations related to these things. Perhaps the villas and the car would have been made available to them by the “congregation”.

Robertino, in his second term as deputy, had a rapid rise in public life. In 2012, when he was 23 years old, he was a county councilor in Bistrita-Năsăud on the PD-L side, but five years later he was already a deputy and general secretary of the PNL – basically, the second decision-maker after Ludovic Orban. He was 28 years old. For such a position, which he held for 4 years, he was probably recommended by his family and talent. His father, who died in 2010, was one of the richest and most influential Bistrita politicians, but more importantly, of the neo-Protestant community in the city. Robertino is filthy rich and is the protégé of the same former political mahar Nelu Mexicanu, aka Nelu Oltean.

On the TV show quoted above, when asked who was behind him, Sighiartău answered “very strong people, who have the same values as me, and God!”.

The cross and the wallet allowed Sighiartău to escape untouched by the internal turmoil in the PNL in recent years. And, like his predecessor with the handkerchief, when he felt that the wind of power was blowing towards Cîțu, he did not shy away from asking the resignation of his benefactor Ludovic Orban.

In 2021, after the congress enthronement of Cîțu at the head of the party, Sighiartău is, however, forced to give up the position of general secretary in favor of a favorite of Cîțu, but the deputy pastor jumps to another seat, that of vice president for Foreign Policy and European Affairs of PNL. He chose the position by himself, claiming in any circumstance that he has studies in “management of European institutions”, so that the world knows from now on where he will fight for the European parliamentary elections in 2024.

Robertino will go far. He is trained for this. It far surpasses Ponta’s careerism, Bușoi’s trickery, Cîțu’s toupee, Videanu’s pragmatism and Batistuță’s gargle. Unlike them, he also has the ambition of an entire congregation on his side.

In 2019, during an event held in Galați, Sighiartău said that Iohannis “is a man whose destiny was written by God!”. No one would be surprised if Robertino once slapped us in the face that his destiny was also written by God – and mucles… (Will follow)
