DAPURPACU – Members of the White Car Community (WCC) have just held a gathering activity which is packaged as a ‘National Halal Bihalal’ event, which is centered in the Sentul area, Bogor.
This activity, which was held on May 14, has become an annual routine agenda for the white car owner community, since it was officially declared on May 6, 2012.
This moment was also used by WCC members who were present to celebrate the 11th anniversary, which took place at Giova’s Garden Coffee & Resto.
Carrying the theme ‘White Heart for Friendship’, the event started at 09.00 – 14.00 WIB and was attended by around 200 WCC members across chapters along with their families and invited guests.
Rest Area KM 10 A Jagorawi Toll Road was designated as the gathering point which was followed by a convoy of around 100 cars heading to the location where the event was held.
The Chief Executive of the Halal Bihalal event and the 11th Anniversary of the WCC, Daniel Jefri Estrada appreciated the high enthusiasm of its members for participating in the event.
“Hopefully by turning 11 this year, WCC can grow, be friendly, victorious and always be of benefit to the community,” said the man who also serves as Chair of the Depok Chapter of WCC.
The event continued with cutting the birthday cake, lunch together, band entertainment, games with prizes, door prize distribution, grand lauching of the White Car Community (WCC) jingle, group photo session & joint prayer, and closed by Sulle Wijaya’s appearance.
WCC Chairman, Masayu Donny Kertopati admitted, for a community that has entered its 11th year, this is not a short time to live.
“For an automotive community, of course we have gone through many ups and downs together. My hope is that WCC can further develop, be more solid and active for all chapters, we can always get along in harmony,” he said.
Various communities attended the event, including DXIC (Daihatsu Xenia Indonesia Club), Run GK5 (Jazz GK5 Community), PKMB (Bekasi Car Community Association), HOID (Honda Owner Indonesia), DCC (Depok Car Communities) and TEVCI (Toyota Etios Valco Club Indonesia).
Since its establishment until now, WCC has more than 4,800 members spread across 34 chapters throughout the archipelago. [dp/TH]
