The President’s decision regarding the establishment of faculties affiliated to some higher education institutions and the change of the name of a faculty, and the declaration of the area in the Ulukışla district of Niğde as the Anatolian International Special Industrial Zone, was published in the Official Gazette.
In the decision published with the signature of President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design at Ordu University and the Faculty of Health Sciences at Selçuk University were announced.
It was decided to change the name of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, affiliated to İzmir Katip Çelebi University, to the Faculty of Theology, in accordance with the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions.
Special Industrial Zone
It was decided in accordance with Article 4/Ç of the Industrial Zones Law No. 4737 that the area located in the Ulukışla district of Niğde and the borders of which are shown on the attached map, be declared as the Anatolian International Special Industrial Zone.
