“We must bury the hatchet between the company and the school”, according to the Minister of Industry Roland Lescure

L’Usine Nouvelle – This is your first Industry Week as minister in charge of the sector, what is the purpose of this initiative and have you developed it?
Roland Lescure – We want to inspire industry, which we started doing five years ago with competitiveness measures, the France Relaunch program and now France 2030, which is being rolled out rapidly. This week, it is a decentralized action throughout the territories and I will make two to three trips a day with other ministers. I also wanted to open the Ministry of the Economy with an operation “Bercy fait son industrie” on November 24. This event will be mainly aimed at young people: almost a thousand schoolchildren will come to meet industrialists and the Minister of Education, Pap Ndiaye will also be present. We are also organizing a great eloquence contest, the final of which will be the “industry trial”. There will be a prosecutor, an accused, a lawyer. And I hope the industry wins in the end!

Everyone agreed, including the employees, who of course received a raise because they knew it was a way to save the company.
