“The usual way of gaining knowledge cannot be, the natural process can be completely replaced by distance learning. Direct, personal communication between the teacher and the student, student, student is extremely important here,” the head of state said.
“We do not have such plans – to completely replace distance learning with everything that happens in the field of education,” he assured.
At the same time, the President noted that the technical capabilities of the education sector are developing, including distance learning, it’s impossible to try and stop technical progress, and it’s not necessary.
“But of course, one should not replace one with the other, and we are not going to do this,” Vladimir Putin emphasized.
He agreed with the opinion of Lakhova that control is needed in the field of the use of distance learning.
“It definitely should be under control, we need to develop common, framework rules and, based on this, develop our educational system,” the head of state concluded.
