VULIN: Russia is not changing its position and will not recognize the so-called Kosovo, and for the whole world to recognize it

MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS Alexander Vulin commented on the allegations of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said that a precedent had been set with Kosovo, and that Russia had every right to recognize the republics in Donbas under the United Nations Charter and that when Kosovo declared independence, the International Court of Justice from western countries he ruled that it was according to the UN Charter.

VULIN: Russia is not changing its position and will not recognize the so-called Kosovo, and even if the whole world recognizes it - Serbia will not, and that is the most important thing

– Recognizing the so-called Kosovo as a state, the West used the right of the stronger, that beating has two ends. In Serbia, international law was killed in the NATO aggression in 1999, and nothing will revive it in Ukraine. Russia is referring to the example of the West, and those who gave it that example, hardly have a moral argument to condemn it for what they set as a principle. If those who recognized the so-called Kosovo realized the mistake and withdrew their recognition, they might have a moral argument to condemn Russia, instead, they are asking Serbia to recognize the so-called Kosovo, for Serbia to atone for their sin with its recognition.

– Russia does not change its position and will not recognize the so-called Kosovo, and even if the whole world recognizes it, Serbia will not recognize the so-called Kosovo, and that is, however, more important than anything – said Minister Aleksandar Vulin.
