Vohradský was appointed head of the Military Forests and Estates

Prague – Minister of Defense Jana Černochová (ODS) has appointed Roman Vohradský as the director of the state enterprise Military Forests and Estates (VLS). The ministry announced it today twitter. Vohradský has so far led the VLS Mimoň division. The position of the company’s director became vacant at the end of last year, when Černochová removed Petr Král from office in connection with a plan to exchange VLS’s land with the state-owned company Lesy ČR. After the King’s dismissal, the current economist of the Out of Division division, Ivo Dohnal, was temporarily assigned to lead the VLS.

Military forests and farms manage more than 140,000 hectares of land in and around military districts, military training grounds. They manage about five percent of Czech forests.
