DAPURPACU – PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) again held a virtual training for assisted Vocational High School (SMK) teachers, which was held on June 24.
This time, the training was held for vocational school teachers throughout Yogyakarta, with material provided about new technologies in the Daihatsu model line, including Rocky.
Aji Prima Barus Nurcahya, Section Head of Service Training Department of PT ADM said that this training is a form of Daihatsu’s contribution to vocational and industrial programs to increase the link and match between schools and the industrial world.
The sharing provided starts from the introduction of functions, component working mechanisms, troubleshooting, as well as the introduction of Daihatsu production facilities in making low-emission and environmentally friendly vehicles.
“Daihatsu hopes that vocational teachers can pass this knowledge on to students in their schools, so that students can prepare themselves better and are ready to go directly to the industrial world,” said Aji Prima Barus Nurcahya, Section Head of Service Training Department of PT ADM.
For the features presented, such as HSA (Hill Start Assist), Power Door Lock, Back Sonar, Automatic Light Control, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Around View, and ASA (Advanced Safety Assist).
The last feature that has just been applied to the Daihatsu Rocky utilizes the sensors in the stereo camera on the windshield. This sensor detects objects in front and warns if the car is in potential danger.
There are 6 functions in this feature, namely Pre-Collision Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, Pedal Misoperation Control, Front Departure Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Departure Prevention.
In this training, Daihatsu also introduced technology in production facilities that comply with up to Euro 6, which is adjusted to the vehicle regulations of each country.
This facility is Daihatsu’s commitment in producing cars with low emissions, and environmentally friendly by implementing ‘Green Technology’.
