Visaire (Wizz Air) announced the launch of a new airline from Israel to Romania. The flights from Tbilisi to Suceava will start on January 9, 2023 with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays. Suceava is the capital of the Suceava district, in the south of Bucovina located in northern Romania and overlooking the Suceava Valley. In the past there was a large Jewish community there (8000 inhabitants) and prospered even after the Holocaust, but with the wave of immigration to Israel and other Western countries, the number of Jews was reduced to a few dozen.
