ViewSonic is jumping on the OLED monitor trend with a model designed for creators on the go

An OLED computer monitor is a must-have for everyone at CES, and ViewSonic obviously doesn’t want to be left behind. Therefore, the manufacturer comes up with a new product that will especially interest creative people with a laptop.

The ColorPro VP16-OLED is a 15.6-inch OLED monitor with Full HD resolution and very good colors. Specifically ViewSonic was able to reduce the color deviation below two Delta E. The brightness reaches 400 nits and the panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.

Of course, the advantages (and disadvantages) of the OLED panel are linked to this display. The user thus receives perfect black, high contrast and good viewing angles.

The panel is built into a very light body, and the total weight has fit into one kilogram. ViewSonic uses an aluminum frame to protect the panel itself well. On the back we find a stand. As you can see from the pictures and video, the monitor is mainly intended for carrying and using together with a laptop. The stand can be tilted into five different angles.

USB-C or mini-HDMI takes care of the connection. There is also a 3.5 mm jack on the body. The price has not yet been announced.
