Insulation must be observed for 10 days when entering from Great Britain, Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Monaco, Netherlands, Greece, Denmark and Slovenia.
The self-isolation threshold in Latvia is currently set at 75 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
For countries outside the EU and EEA, self-isolation is not required when traveling from Thailand, USA, Serbia, Rwanda, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, Macedonia, New Zealand, Israel, Albania, Singapore and Australia… These countries are among those from which it is allowed to cross the EU external border.
When entering Latvia from other countries of the world that are not listed in the lists, self-isolation is necessary!
If travel is necessary, strict self-isolation and health care must be followed when returning within ten days. If symptoms appear, a Covid-19 test should be done and a family doctor should be consulted.
Persons vaccinated against Covid-19 are not required to self-isolate when returning from the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK.
