“Up in the Air” – Apple presents the first trailer of the new series with Idris Elba

Up in the Air is set to be a real-time thriller about the seven-hour flight of a hijacked plane. Idris Elba is one of the producers of the series and will play Sam Nelson, a seasoned negotiator on board the plane who decides to adopt a rather risky strategy when talking to the kidnappers, written by George Kay (including “Lupin”, “Criminal”, “Stag” and “Killing Eve”), and directed by Jim Field Smith (including ” Criminal”, “Stag”, “Mad” and “Girl from the Premier League”).

Up in the Air will consist of seven episodes, each one hour long. The first two episodes will air on Apple TV+ on June 28, with more episodes added weekly on Wednesday.
