The priority groups for vaccination should include journalists and cameramen who report every day, as well as other media workers – the Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) asked the Institute for Public Health “Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut” and the Crisis Staff of the Government to suppress KOVID-19.
“Regularly informing citizens about the epidemic and measures to stop it is a key part of the fight – against the spread of the virus,” UNS said in a statement.
UNS reminded that several journalists, its members, died as a result of that disease and that media workers are exposed to a higher risk of infection due to the nature of their work.
