An agency under the auspices of the United Nations has compiled an initial list of cultural monuments damaged in Ukraine after more than a month of war.

Currently, 29 places of worship, 16 buildings of historical significance, four museums and four monuments have been destroyed or destroyed.

“We are very concerned about the situation with our cultural and historical heritage. Ukraine’s human heritage is under threat,” said UNESCO spokesman Ernesto Otone.

There are seven World Heritage Sites in Ukraine – Lviv and Kiev, Odessa and Kharkiv are included in the Network of Creative Cities, and some of Ukraine’s national archives are included in the UNESCO World Memory Register.
