Underwater Robotics Summer School for Mentors Held in Vladivostok


School participants were mentors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Krasnoyarsk, Novy Urengoy, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Samara, Ulan-Ude, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Polysaevo (Kemerovo Region), Artyom and Ussuriysk (Primorsky Territory). ).

Divided into teams, the participants went through all stages of the development of an underwater robot under the guidance of teachers from the Center for the Development of Robotics and experienced mentors: from designing electronics and a frame to drawing up a technical report and testing the device in water.

The school ended with mini-competitions, during which the teams demonstrated the operation of their devices in the pool, presented a technical report and prepared a poster. The next training of mentors is planned to be held in the winter and will be devoted to programming submersibles.

The project “Engineering competitions and competitions in marine robotics” is being implemented by the NTI Club Movement together with the Maritime State University (MSU) named after Admiral G.I. Nevelsky, the Center for the Development of Robotics and the Industry Center “MARINET” of the National Technology Initiative. The project is aimed at preparing a new generation of technological leaders in the areas and in the interests of the Marinet NTI market, creating and integrating into the educational process an integrated system for preparing schoolchildren and students for Russian and international technological competitions.
