Una Seguros is the sponsor of the National 3×3 Basketball Circuit – Meios & Publicidade

Una Seguros reinforced its partnership with the Portuguese Basketball Federation by assuming the sponsorship of the 3×3 National Circuit.

As the competition’s official insurer, “Una’s main objective is to strengthen the brand’s association with the modality and promote local agencies in cities with commercial presence. In addition, this participation will continue the insurer’s positioning strategy of promoting a healthy lifestyle for the Portuguese”, points out the company.

The competition, which starts this Saturday in Paços de Ferreira, has 26 stages in mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores. The city of Maia ends on the 27th of August. 7,800 participants are expected, including federated and non-federated athletes and 26 thousand spectators nationwide.

The event aims to promote the sport and encourage young people and adults to practice sport and this year has the support of Márcia da Costa Robalo, Portuguese international and player of the 2010-2020 decade, and Miguel Queiroz, captain of the national senior men’s team.

3×3 basketball is considered one of the most popular urban sports today. Since the first official event at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has promoted the sport – in 2017 it was added to the Olympic Program and, in 2020, it was one of the highlights at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
