In Ukraine, they are preparing to introduce the so-called “antiquated passports” – a document with a note on vaccination against coronavirus. This was announced by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.

At the initial stage, they plan to organize the entry of data on citizens who have received the vaccination into a special electronic system of the Ministry of Health.

“When mandatory vaccination passports are introduced at the international level, Ukrainian doctors will be able to promptly issue a certificate of vaccinations,” Lyashko said.

Earlier, Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov said that the authorities expect the first vaccine to arrive in Ukraine presumably in February, specifying that the dates may be shifted. The chief medical officer assures the Ukrainians that the government will try to do everything possible for free vaccination of the population over 18 years old.
