The police in Nové Zámky received a notification about a tragic traffic accident near the village of Obid in the direction from Štúrov to Gbeliec before midnight.
Both the driver and the female passenger died
“The 28-year-old driver of the Skoda Octavia crossed into the opposite direction, where he collided with a Ford Mondeo, from which he was thrown into a tree,” informs the Nitrian region police.
The driver of the Octavia and his 22-year-old female passenger were killed in the collision.

The circumstances and the exact cause of the tragic traffic accident are the subject of an investigation by the Novi Zámok police.
