Miracles also happen in the jungle in the province of Caqueta, Colombia. The four children survived both the crash and the subsequent 14 days in the jungle. The army, police and firemen did not give up, especially when searching for wreckage and possible survivors they came across discarded fruit that the children had eaten and makeshift shelters made of vegetation that the children had built to survive in the dangerous environment of the dense jungle . Namely, the plane fell in an isolated area, full of wild animals and dominated by thick undergrowth, trees up to 40 meters high, and heavy rain is also falling there.

In early May, a Cessna 206 crashed with seven passengers traveling from Ararcuara in the Amazon to San Jose del Guaviarea. Three adults, including the pilot, died in the crash, their bodies were found by rescuers in the wreckage of the plane, and four children aged 13, 9, 4 years and 11 months were missing. The children, who belong to the indigenous Uitortou nation, however, found themselves alone and managed to survive.

The cause of the crash is most likely a technical problem, as just before the accident the pilot reported that they had engine problems.
