Yesterday, at the session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, on the initiative of the Ministry of Rural Care, adopted two Decrees aimed at improving the quality of life in rural areas and meeting the needs of rural residents.
“We are actively working for the villagers let’s approach living conditions that city dwellers have and make all types of services available to them – administrative, health, educational, but also cultural and sports contents “- said the Minister of Village Care Milan Krkobabic MPs and citizens of Serbia at the session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, after the Government of Serbia, at the initiative of the Ministry of Rural Care, passed two new decrees to improve the quality of life and work of the rural population.
It was adopted Decree on determining the grant program for the purchase of mini buses for the needs of transportation of the rural population on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
It involves the award of a grant for purchase of mini buses which will serve exclusively for the needs of transporting the rural population from one village to another, or from the village to the city / municipal seat.
The budget of the Republic of Serbia has determined this purpose 120 million dinars, and its realization solves the basic needs movements of the rural population, in order to enable a better quality of life in rural areas, better connectivity and meeting the needs of the population of administrative, educational and medical character.
Applicants for the public competition are local self-government units with the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia, has the right to only one application, and the amount of funds for these purposes per application is up to 7 million dinars.
On that day, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, at the initiative of the Ministry for the Care of the Village, adopted Decree on determining the grant program for organizing the event called “Miholjski susreti sela”. The budget of the Republic of Serbia has been determined for this program 43 million dinars, and the goal is enrichment social and sports life of the inhabitants in the villages, nurturing the traditional way of life and cultural – historical heritage.
The maximum amount of approved funds per application will be up to 500,000 dinars. The regulation provides for a one-day or multi-day event that can take place in all populated places-villages on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, outside city, municipal seats and suburban settlements.
The applicants for the public competition are local self-government units from the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia, which they design themselves the program of this event, duration and place of the event (the event can be held from October 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021).
Activities in which the population of the village from the territory of one local self-government unit participates can be from the area dramatic arts, literature, literary skills and other arts (competitions in singing, recitation, acting, painting, etc.), maintenance sports competitions, promoting conservation and improvement old crafts and cultural and artistic heritage, making works of art and handicrafts, as well as other activities in which the villagers can show their knowledge and skills and compete in them.
