two new e-bikes for the city

The world of zero-emission micro-mobility is expanding more and more. In recent years we have talked a lot about electric scooters which, on some occasions, have stolen the show from bicycles and e-bikes. The scooter bonus between 2020 and 2021 has undoubtedly given a boost to the segment, but of course, electric scooters and bikes do not disappear too.

And speaking of two lightweight pedal assisted wheels, today we are back to talk about a well-known brand in the sector, Bianchi. The company produces e-bikes that are perfect for the mountains, other models are suitable for sprinters who travel on the road and others that are created for daily commuting in urban centers. Today the Treviglio company offers a new city model, its name is T-Tronik, available in Urban and Tourer versions.

Comfort first

Both versions of the new Bianchi electric bike boast a frame designed to guarantee maximum comfort on any trip and route, and with any type of clothing worn by the cyclist. The handlebar of the Bianchi T-Tronik Tourer and Urban e-Bike can be adjusted from 90 ° to 140 °, thus allowing you to find the most comfortable setting. On both models, the front fork allows you to calmly tackle any type of road, even the most bumpy, without problems in the event of manholes, roughness and potholes (a not inconsiderable feature, given the conditions in which the roads of many Italian cities are found). And finally, another very important feature is the chain: it is covered by a plastic cover and, together with the mudguards, it guarantees the driver not to get excessively dirty in case of rain and puddles.

The engine of the new Bianchi electric bike

Focus sul powertrain with which the two-wheeler is equipped. The motor has been inserted in the central position, it is the new Shimano E6100 from 250 W. It offers the cyclist three different levels of assistance and a torque of 60 Nm, not bad. Supporting the engine is the 417 Wh Phylion battery, capable of guaranteeing the new Bianchi T-Tronik e-Bike a range of up to 95 km (data declared by the manufacturer). The charging socket is close to the bottom bracket, the battery itself can also be pulled out of its housing for easier and more comfortable charging conditions. This is possible thanks to the release system that has been inserted in the upper part of the oblique. A feature that will undoubtedly be highly appreciated by users.

All available options and prices

The new Bianchi T-Tronik, in the Urban and Tourer versions, presents complete city equipment. In fact, both models are equipped with a very practical rear rack, which can load up to 25 kg, and 100 lumen lights that make front visibility much sharper and clearer, even up to 400 meters (500 meters at the rear). The new Bianchi T-Tronik electric bicycle, as we have said, will be in the price list in two versions: the C-Type (Urban) has a price of 2.411 euro – and is offered in the Iridescent Bronze and Stone Blue colors – and instead the T-Type (Tourer) costs 2.407 euro, in Metropolis Gray and Green colors. Two unique proposals that are added to the wide range of electric and non-electric bikes of the Italian Bianchi company, which we have already got to know on several occasions.
