Twitter makes Spaces available to accounts with more than 600 followers

As of today, Twitter Spaces is available to all users with more than 600 followers. Spaces, live audio conversations on Twitter, has been rolled out in phases worldwide since the announcement in December last year.

Spaces are for small and intimate conversations with just a few others, or for larger discussions of what’s unfolding with thousands of listeners right now.

On Twitter for iOS and Android, a purple bubble will appear at the top of the timeline as soon as someone you follow starts or speaks to a Space. This remains visible as long as the conversation lasts.

If you participate in a Space as a listener, you can respond to what you hear with emojis, view pinned Tweets, follow the conversation via so-called captions, tweet or DM the Space.
