Turkey was not included in Formula 1’s 2022 racing calendar

The 2022 Formula 1 calendar, which Formula 1 has been working on for a long time, was approved and officially announced at the FIA World Motor Sports Council meeting held today.

According to the 2022 Formula 1 calendar, the season will start in Bahrain on 20 March and end in Abu Dhabi on 20 November. As previously announced, there are 23 races on the calendar.

Although Turkey made long-term contract negotiations with Formula 1, it could not find a place for itself in the 2022 Formula 1 calendar. But if one of the races in the 2022 calendar does not take place, Turkey will be in a “pole position” to enter the calendar once again.
