A new TUF Gaming monitor has surfaced on Asus’ international website. It concerns the VG32AQL1A, a 32-inch model that uses an IPS panel. Asus has not officially announced the monitor yet.
The flat display has a resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels and has a maximum refresh rate of 170 Hz. Adaptive Sync is supported (FreeSync Premium / 48-170 Hz), as well as Asus’ elmb sync that motion blur must counteract while using adaptive sync is part of the party. The peak brightness of the display is 400 nits and 99 percent of the dci-p3 gamut should be displayed faithfully.
The black monitor comes with a height-adjustable stand, and is also equipped with vesa mounting points (100 x 100 mm). In terms of connections, the VG32AQL1A has displayport 1.2, hdmi 2.0 (x2) and an audio jack, plus a USB hub with two type-a ports. Stereo speakers of 2 W each provide the sound.
A suggested retail price and release date for the TUF Gaming VG32AQL1A are not yet known. Given the prices of comparable models, a price above 400 euros seems plausible.
