Trustpilot removes 2.7 million fake reviews

Review platform Trustpilot removed 2.7 million fake reviews in 2021, according to the company’s transparency report. The total number of reviews rose 21 percent from the previous year.

Of the 2.7 million fake reviews* identified and removed in 2021, 1.8 million were detected automatically, an increase of 19 percent compared to 2020.
