Prague – Sparta footballers traveled to a concentration camp in Bad Kleinkirchheim, Austria without midfielder Michal Trávník and defender Matěj Hanousek. Both players are negotiating a transfer abroad and will probably leave the Prague club. Letenští informed about the staff for the training on their website.

Trávník’s departure from Letná has been speculated before. The 27-year-old midfielder, who moved to Sparta from Jablonec the year before last, has so far stayed in the Prague club below expectations and has not made it into the basic line-up permanently. Twenty-eight-year-old Hanousek also came to Letná from Jablonec. He competed in 25 league matches last season, and was injured for a month during the spring.

Defender Dávid Hancko, who started with the Slovak national team at the European Championship, has already joined the preparation of Sparta. On the other hand, the Czech national team forward forward Adam Hložek, wing player Jakub Pešek and defender Ondřej Čelůstka will join the team later.

Due to injuries, midfielder Jan Fortelný stayed in Prague. On the other hand, the forward Lukáš Juliš traveled to Austria, who suffered an injury to the ligaments in his ankle in a preparatory match with Líšní. He will focus mainly on rehabilitation at the camp.

In June, Sparta started summer training as the first Czech league club. Coach Pavel Vrba’s charges will enter the Champions League qualification on July 20 with the opening match of the 2nd preliminary round on the Rapid Vienna pitch.
