Transtejo workers on partial strike between Monday and Friday
Transtejo workers announced a new partial strike, of three hours per shift, which begins on Monday, the 8th, and continues until Friday, the 12th.
The workers “return to the fight because for almost a year the administration/Government ignored the workers’ demands and the solutions that were presented to them”, indicated the Federation of Transport and Communications Unions (Fectrans), cites Lusa.
According to the union, the workers’ claims for this year “can be supported by the company and State budgets”, so the situation created in the meantime of marking elections “does not make situations impossible, it is enough for the Government’s will”.
The strike was scheduled in the workers’ plenary on 14 October, but at the time it had not yet been established which five days the strike would take place.
