Coming for the citizens of Bologna a new ecological Sunday. The traffic block is scheduled for January 17th and will involve different categories of vehicles.
The measure falls within the more general 2020 Regional Integrated Area Plan (PAIR) and follows the previous one implemented on 10 January, at the conclusion of Phase 1 (as per ordinance P.G. n. 372398/2020). As reported on the website of the Municipality of Bologna, “pending the resolution of the President of the Regional Council ER, the ordinance PG n. 7569/2021 foresees ecological Sunday on January 17th 2021“.

The Municipality of Bologna also recalled that during ecological Sundays the validity of travel passes for the buses of public transport it will be daily. To exploit the means of sustainable mobility Tper, a single validation of the urban time ticket or of citypass:
During the Ecological Sundays the urban bus ticket is valid for one day: therefore with a single validation of the urban time ticket or the citypass, carried out at any time, or with a ticket purchased from the automatic ticket machine on board or through the Roger app you can travel on Tper vehicles in the urban area of Bologna for the whole day, until the end of the service. The measure is re-proposed by the Municipality of Bologna, thanks to the European funding of the Life Prepair project and using its own funds, in agreement with SRM and Tper.
As for the service taxi, the cars will offer a 10% discount to move around Bologna during the time slot (8: 30-18: 30) in which the ecological Sunday will be in effect.
