Traditional Chinese medicine, at the top! Lotus Chinese Therapy Clinic: “The pathology we can treat is very diverse”

Capital Magazine held the Top 100 Performers in Health Gala. Among the award winners was the Lotus Chinese Therapy Clinic, which has been using natural treatments for over 500 years.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is starting to attract more and more Romanians. It contains the richest vein of scientific research. Diagnosis and treatment are based on the fundamental principles on the law of the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water and on the action of internal-external factors, which are found interconnected in the general physical appearance.

Lotus Chinese Therapy Clinic uses natural and non-invasive therapies, which have a history of 5,000 years

One of the most important investments for this clinic is represented by the attraction and recruitment of specialists, because they must have the training at the level of the standards imposed by this relatively new market in Romania. In the clinic, at the moment, there are doctors and therapists from China, Romania, Ukraine and the Philippines. They are chosen based on recommendation, but also on official documentation from relevant universities in China.

“The clinic has been active for five years, we have a team consisting of three Chinese doctors, a Ukrainian therapist, two Filipino colleagues and six Romanian colleagues. Each of them use different techniques, have different approach methods so that the pathology we can treat is very diverse. Once again, thank you for this award, it’s an honor!”, declared Ciprian Popescu upon receiving the award.

The manager of the clinic also mentioned that the human resource within it is extremely important, but the equipment should not be neglected either.

“However, it can happen that there is top-end equipment, but if you have not managed to attract specialists to put it into value, you cannot talk about performance”says Clara Dumitru.

It all started as a hobby

Clara Dumitru transmitted for the magazine Capital the fact that the Lotus Chinese Therapy clinic was based on a simple hobby, as it was always fascinated by the way a real science developed since the Ding Dynasty with traditional Chinese medicine as its central point.

From the time of the first dynastic conflicts, injured people were treated with stone needles, a method that is still present today. Also, along with this hobby, a substantial investment was necessary to make this project possible.

The clinic was opened in Romania 5 years ago and enjoys an extremely large opening. The manager’s plan is to take the business to another level, including a team from China and other treatments.

Also, Clara Dumitru said that managing in this field is a novelty for her because it comes after almost 30 years of experience in other fields, which were predominantly commercial.

The clinic manager stated that the world is changing in all social fields, especially in service provision, , especially of the medical ones specific to the clinical activities that I established with the conviction that I will be of great help to people in suffering”.
