While Hyundai’s production models rank among the best on the market, certain concepts will not end up on the roads and in garages. Such is the case with the Hyundai Blink concept, designed in collaboration with k-pop band Blackpink.
It is, in fact, a design exercise. The idea comes from an intern in the company, who combined trends in the automotive industry with current music influences. The concept is modeled on the Fiat 500, and at the same time is inspired by Hyundai’s 45EV concept. The low line of the roof followed small proportions, with a couple of interesting details such as a glass door through which the interior of the vehicle can be seen. The door swings back when opened, and due to the soft design and large front grille, the pink Blink gives the impression of a “smiling” car.
