According to the Dialogue, Fidesz betrayed Hungarian Gypsies as well as the majority of society, so it is not worthy of the vote of any Roma person.

Bence Tordai, the deputy leader of the opposition party, said at a press conference on Facebook on Saturday that Attila Sztojka, the government commissioner responsible for Roma relations, is trying to persuade Roma politicians to support Fidesz by recording a leaked press, MTI writes.

According to the politician, what was said by the head of the Directorate General for Social Opportunity, which belongs to the Ministry of the Interior, is an attack on the whole democracy. Thus, they send a written question to the Minister of the Interior Sándor Pintér to find out

Attila Sztojka talks about the contracts he was talking about during the recording, and whether the representatives of the national Roma local government were really listened to, as can be deduced from what was said.

Lajos Lőcsei, a politician at Momentum, said in the same place that the leaked recording also proves that they are eavesdropping and intimidating public figures “who do not belong to the circle”, which is why “no leadership should be said to lead the corrupt Fidesz elite”.

Sándor Berki, the ethnic and minority rapporteur for the Dialogue, put it this way, the recording shows how Fidesz actually stands for Roma policy. He stated that in order for the Roma issue to develop, Roma public life must also be cleansed.
