Top technological glasses that adapt to the user

Corrective glasses are a vision aid known to almost every one of us. If we have a diopter, it allows us clear and sharp vision, because using them changes the angle of light rays entering the eye. Corrective glasses can be used only occasionally or worn all the time. The problem, however, arises when a person needs one pair of glasses to look into the distance and one pair of glasses for objects that are close by.

Fortunately, the Israeli start-up company Deep Optics has prepared very interesting high-tech glasses that completely adapt to the user’s vision. The lenses of the glasses can dynamically change the sharpness at any distance that the user wants to see. The sharpness changes by moving the finger on the handle of the glasses and thus also the way the lens works. This means that one pair of glasses can be used both for reading a book and looking at a mobile phone screen as well as for walking down the street or driving a car.

The secret of Deep Optics’ advanced glasses lies in the lenses covered with a layer of liquid crystals, such as is used to make LCD screens. The user can also change the diopter of the glasses via a convenient application on a smartphone. Of course, the glasses also need electricity from the built-in batteries to work, but only if the user needs them to see objects up close.

Deep Optics’ innovative glasses are already on sale through the Kickstarter launch portal. The novelty can be purchased by clicking on the web link Novelty is not exactly cheap. In the pre-sale, the recalculated 192 euros will have to be deducted for advanced glasses. In free sale, their price is expected to be around 377 euros.
