Toddler survives fall from 20-meter cliff in US: ‘A miracle’

The incident happened late last week near the Princess Arch, in the US state of Kentucky. The boy fell off the cliff and got stuck on multiple ledges, the local rescue team writes on Facebook. He fell from a height of 9 meters along a steep cliff on the next ledge.

The boy landed more than 20 meters below in the wooded area. The father went after the child and decided to lower him further and cross a river.

There, the parents contacted the emergency services, who treated the boy.

“He was very talkative and only had a few scratches and bruises,” the emergency services wrote. “His parents were very relieved.”
