The National Health Service implements various tactics and approaches to motivate residents of Latvia to get vaccinated against coronavirus and thereby increase the rate of vaccination against COVID-19.

According to the representative of the Vaccination Department of the National Health Service Inga Vasilyeva, in order to increase the percentage of those vaccinated against COVID-19, pensioners in Daugavpils began to call, inviting them to sign up for vaccinations.

They call the person, talk to him, motivate and write him down for a specific time of vaccination. So far, the percentage of seniors who have agreed by phone is only 10%, but not only are they not going to refuse this method, but a similar system will soon be implemented in other cities of Latvia.

It is planned that not only health workers, but also their family doctors attending, will call pensioners, since they are the ones who are in the circle of trust of the elderly.
