“It is suspected that the victim Khairul Ambiya was killed by hacking him with a bayonet,” said Nagan Raya Police Chief AKBP Risno, represented by the Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Machfud in Suka Makmue, Sunday.
He explained that the two perpetrators were caught by the police not far from the scene, after hiding after killing the victim.
In addition to arresting the two perpetrators, the police also secured a number of evidences including one KLX BL-6439-EAF motorbike belonging to the victim, one Oppo Renno 4 cellphone, one bayonet, three pairs of sandals, and a side bag.
Based on the results of the investigation and the scene of the matter carried out by the police, the victim Khairul Ambiya is alleged to have been persecuted before being killed by two perpetrators who have been arrested.
He also explained that the two perpetrators were suspected of being desperate to kill the victim only because the victim had demanded Rp1 million from one of the perpetrators, which was money for selling cellular phones.
