The Ministry of Environmental Protection and the city of Uzice will invest more than ten million dinars in the protection and preservation of land as a natural resource on Tara.
The city will receive 7.5 million dinars from the Ministry for the construction of the ecological park on Tara, and it will allocate 3.2 million dinars from its own budget.
The agreement on co-financing that project, as the city administration announced, was signed in Belgrade by Dragoljub Stojadinović, the deputy mayor of Užice, and Irena Vujović, the minister of environmental protection.

In the coming days, a tender is expected to be announced for the selection of contractors, and the contract stipulates that the project will be realized by November 30 this year.
Uzice is one of the 43 local self-governments in which environmental projects will be co-financed, for which the Ministry set aside 333 million dinars in a public competition.
The money, as stated, is intended for the rehabilitation of locations where landfills, erosive land, landslides and landslides used to be.
