this great Hollywood actor finally feels ready to join the MCU

The least we can say is that the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow and it is not ready to stop with the saga of the Multiverse. Many actors are waiting to get a role in the MCU. Some big names in cinema such as Michael Douglas, Michael Keaton or Sylvester Stallone were able to appear there. Today, he’s another iconic Hollywood actor who just announced that he finally feels ready to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A new big star in the MCU?

Indeed, there are many big names in Hollywood who have passed through the MCU. We remember that Michael Keaton has already played Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture In Spider-Man : Homecoming, Michael Douglas as Hank Pum In Ant-Man et Endgame or Sylvester Stallone who was the face of Stakar Ogord In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

We also know that a great world film star, Harrisson Ford, starring inIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on June 28, will join the Marvel universe as Thaddeus Ross In Captain America : New World Order and in Thunderbolts.

And audiences may well find another Hollywood legend in the world of Marvel superheroes. Indeed, the rumors about his possible arrival in the MCU do not date from today since in 2021, director Kevin Smith already imagined him as Galactus the Eater of Worlds. More recently, Don Cheadle, who plays Colonel James Rhodes, aka War Machine, spoke about his possible integration into the cast of the film Amor Wars.

Ready to integrate the MCU on one condition

If the subject is not new, today, this is the first time that the principal concerned has addressed the issue. This huge star is none other than… Arnold Schwarzenegger !

Currently in the series Fubar available since May 25 on Netflix, the one nicknamed the Austrian Oak or even Governator because of his role in Terminator and his tenure as Governor of California, was questioned by the press during a press conference to know if he would participate in a Marvel movie.

The 75-year-old actor therefore answered in all transparency thathe felt ready to join the MCU. However, he pointed out thathe would do it on one condition :

If the role is good!

As a reminder, Arnorld Schwarzenegger was already appeared in a superhero production playing Victor Fries aka Mr Freeze in 1997 in Batman and Robin Joel Schumacher.

If Don Cheadle is to be believed during his time on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, when speculation suggested he could play The Man from Titanium, everything suggests that Schwarzenegger’s Arrival In The MCU Won’t Happen In Armor Wars.

Nor will Schwarzy be in the next Marvel series, Secret Invasion scheduled for Disney+ on June 21. In this series, Nick Fury will have the mission to save the world from an invasion of Skrulls. Composed of six episodes, Marvel fans will find Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle et Cobie Smuldersthey can also discover Emilia Clarke, Ben Mendelsohn or Olivia Colman.
