FNG NV has again appointed a new CEO. It is the third CEO change in three months. After Dieter Penninckx left, the baton was handed over to Manu Bracke in May, followed by Yves Pollé. Now the company appoints Paul Lembrechts as interim CEO.
“With the appointment of Paul Lambrechts as interim CEO, work continues on the rescue and recovery of the group,” according to the message sent by FNG on Saturday morning. “The entire board of directors is thus being replaced. Paul Lembrechts’ extensive experience in various sectors will provide management with the necessary support to lead the group through this transition period.
The composition of the boards of directors of the group companies will also be adjusted in the coming days, according to the press release. Richard Turk is currently management director of FNG Netherlands and Nathasja van Bael is CFO of the group.
Earlier this week, the unions made a request to the corporate court. The unions wanted administrators to be appointed at FNG so that ‘honest people’ would be at the top of the company. The unions also shared no confidence in Yves Pollé as he has no experience in the fashion sector.
