They evict an illegal party in Madrid with 66 people

After 01:45 at night, several calls were received in 092 warning of a possible party at a place on Espejo Street, in the Centro district. A patrol traveled to the place and verified that loud music was coming from inside the premises, as well as the sound of a great accumulation of people. One of the neighbors alerted the agents that during the night about 50 young people have been able to access the premises.

The premises, which can only be accessed or exited through a small door and lacks an emergency exit, was closed with several locks and no one responded to the warnings of the agents to open the door. Inquiries were made to determine what type of premises it was, determining at first that it was an old retail store, to later discover that it was offered as a tourist apartment on the internet.

Given the danger that the situation could entail for the people who were inside the premises and who heard small disputes from inside when wanting to leave some of them, it was decided in order to safeguard their safety request the collaboration of the Central Security Unit (UCS) to open the door and vacate the premises.

Once the premises are accessed, there are mattresses covering the door and windows, and inside a total of 66 people, 11 of them minors. All of them were denounced for failing to comply with current regulations on measures against covid-19. In addition, both in the personal records and inside the premises, a narcotic substance was found, filing a total of four complaints for possession.

The place has a ground floor of about 50 square meters which is accessed through a staircase of about three meters. Likewise, it has a first floor of about forty square meters which is accessed through a staircase of about eight meters.

Once the premises have been vacated and the pertinent complaints have been processed, the parents of the minors were contacted so that they could pick them up and take care of them.
