Toledo, Jul 4 (EFE) .- The Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the General Directorate of Public Health, has reported the appearance of an outbreak of covid-19 in a building in Albacete, whose residents are to be confined , after contagions have been confirmed on two floors of the property.
In a press release, the Ministry of Health of Castilla-La Mancha reported this Saturday that it is a building located on Calle Baños number 25, in which there was an outbreak classified as family that affected five people, which they were going through home isolation.
However, this Friday two more cases of contagion of the coronavirus were confirmed in the same building, although from different floors of the building, which required hospitalization, the Ministry has indicated.
Likewise, he explained that when the Epidemiology Service of Albacete confirmed the coincidence of domicile of the cases, the building will be confined, proceeding to take study, surveillance and control measures throughout the property.
In this sense, it has been clarified that all residents in the property meet the definition of contact of a person infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as established in the procedure for action against cases of infection with the new coronavirus approved by the Ministry of Health.
The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has highlighted the work carried out since the start of the pandemic by public health professionals, maintaining vigilance and control over cases and contacts, as well as that of health personnel, both Primary Care and Attention Hospital in the care of users of the public health system.
