On Orava, they are looking for a small plane that disappeared from the radar early Thursday evening.

Igor Janckulík, vice president of the Orava rescue system, confirmed this for TASR.
“The police asked us for help in the search for a small motor plane, which was apparently piloted by a Hungarian citizen and headed towards Poland,” Janckulík zoomed in.
What has happened?
At approximately 6:30 p.m., witnesses should have heard a plane in the vicinity of Zázriva. “There was a huge fog, they couldn’t see the plane, they could only hear that the engine was missing,” stated. The plane disappeared from the radar at approximately 18:45 over Oravská Lesna. The pilot should also have sent the so-called SOS signal.
“We have information that approximately five minutes later it went towards Novoť or Poland,” he added. According to him, since the localization is not precise, it is necessary to search a relatively large area.
