Natore’s Singra municipal elections will have seven levels of security, said the deputy commissioner. Shahriaz. The deputy commissioner said this at an exchange meeting on law and order and election code of conduct on the occasion of the election organized by the upazila administration and the upazila election office on Tuesday.

Speaking as the special guest, Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha said there was no scope for electoral fraud. Elections will be free and fair. And there is no discount if you take up arms. Strict action will be taken if the code of conduct is violated.

Also present at the meeting were District Election Officer and Returning Officer Aslam, Singra Assistant Commissioner Rakibul Hasan, Upazila Election Officer Saiful Alam, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui and other mayoral, general and reserved seat councilor candidates.
